Jeddah, Saudi Arabia – The draw for the 27th Arabian Gulf Cup (Gulf Cup 27) resulted in some tough matchups and two highly competitive groups, as the tournament prepares to kick off in Saudi Arabia.
Saudi Arabia is scheduled to host the “Gulf Cup 27” competitions from September 23 to October 6, 2026. The tournament will be held with the participation of the most prominent Gulf Arab national teams.
The results of the draw were as follows:
Group 1: Saudi Arabia – Iraq – Oman – Kuwait
Group Two: UAE – Qatar – Bahrain – Yemen
The Bahrain national team won the previous edition of the tournament, after defeating the Omani national team 2-1 in the final match held in Kuwait.
Kuwait holds the record for the most Gulf Cup titles with 10, followed by Iraq with 4.
