London, England – Arsenal secured an important victory over Burnley with a score of 1-0, in the match that brought them together on Monday evening at the Emirates Stadium, as part of the 37th round of the English Premier League.
The Gunners imposed their control on the course of the match from the beginning, seeking a victory that would keep their hopes alive in the race for the title until the last round of the season.
German Kai Havertz scored the only goal of the match in the 38th minute, after he took advantage of a perfect cross from Bukayo Saka via a corner kick, turning the ball into a powerful header into the net.

With this victory, Arsenal increased their points tally to 82, maintaining their lead at the top of the Premier League table. Burnley, meanwhile, remain on 21 points in 19th place.
The Gunners now need Manchester City to stumble against Bournemouth in order to officially clinch the Premier League title, or to win in the final round against Crystal Palace if City win their next match.
