Pamplona, Spain – Barcelona achieved a valuable victory over their host Osasuna with a score of 2-1, in the match that brought them together this evening, as part of the 34th round of the Spanish League, at El Sadar Stadium.

Barcelona increased their points tally to 88, strengthening their lead in the standings, while Osasuna’s tally remained frozen at 34 points in tenth place.
The Catalan team is on the verge of winning the title, as any result other than a Real Madrid victory against Espanyol will officially hand Barcelona the title before the highly anticipated Clasico between the two teams on May 10 at Camp Nou.
The match saw an attacking start from Barcelona, with Dani Olmo almost creating the first goal in the 10th minute after passing the ball to Robert Lewandowski, who shot it over the goal.
In contrast, Ante Budimir wasted a clear opportunity for Osasuna in the 36th minute, after he dribbled past the defense and penetrated into the penalty area, but his shot hit the post, before goalkeeper Juan Garcia saved another dangerous attempt two minutes later.
As the second half began, Barcelona continued their pressure and almost opened the scoring in the 50th minute, after Ronnie Burgui rose to head a ball that Olmo met with a shot that rebounded off the defense to a corner kick.
The decisive moment came in the 81st minute, when Lewandowski scored Barcelona’s first goal with a perfect header after a cross from Marcus Rashford.
Only five minutes passed before Ferran Torres strengthened his team’s lead with the second goal, taking advantage of a brilliant through ball from Pedri, which allowed him to go one-on-one with the goalkeeper and put the ball in the net.
Osasuna narrowed the gap in the 89th minute through Raul Garcia, who took advantage of a superb cross and headed it into the net unchallenged.
Ferran Torres almost added a third goal in stoppage time, after he went one-on-one with the goalkeeper, but he shot the ball just wide of the post.
