Doha, Qatar – Paris Saint-Germain of France won the Intercontinental Cup title, after defeating Flamengo of Brazil 2-1 on penalties, following a 1-1 draw in both regular and extra time.

Paris Saint-Germain met Flamengo at the Ahmed Bin Ali Stadium in Qatar in the 2025 Intercontinental Cup final.

Paris Saint-Germain started the match well, dominating the proceedings in the opening minutes.

In the fourth minute, Joao Neves wasted a chance to put Paris Saint-Germain ahead with a one-touch shot that went into the outside of the goal.

Fabian Ruiz scored the opening goal for Paris Saint-Germain in the ninth minute, with a one-touch shot from outside the penalty area.

However, the goal was cancelled following a VAR decision that the ball had gone out for a Paris Saint-Germain corner kick.

Paris Saint-Germain succeeded in announcing their first goal in the 38th minute, through Khevica Kvarastichlia.

The goal came after a low cross from Mayolo was saved by the Flamengo goalkeeper and rebounded to Quaràstighelia, who met it with a shot that found the back of the net.
