Doha, Qatar – The UAE snooker team won the gold medal in the team competition at the 4th Gulf Games “Doha 2026”. Currently being held in the Qatari capital.
The team, which includes Mohammed Shehab, Khaled Al Kamali and Abdulrahman Al Shamsi, achieved first place after beating the Qatari team, which came in second place.
The UAE billiard team raised its tally in the tournament to 5 colored medals. With three medals in billiards, through Mahmoud Sharif, who won gold in the 9-ball singles and bronze in the 10-ball competition. In addition to the bronze medal in the 10-ball doubles with his colleague Khaled Al Zarouni.
The team also won two medals in snooker, including a bronze for Mohamed Shehab in the 6-ball red competition, in addition to a gold for the teams.
