Doha, Qatar – The UAE national team for shooting dishes from the “dirt” hole won two bronze medals in the Fourth Gulf Games. Currently being built on Lusail Square in the Qatari capital, Doha.
In the team competition, the UAE team came in third place with 341 plates, three plates behind the Kuwaiti team, which won the silver medal with 344 plates. The Qatari team won the gold medal after scoring 354 goals.
In the singles competition, shooter Yahya Suhail Al Muhairi won the bronze medal by coming in third place with 133 plates. In addition to 21 dishes in the final round.
Sheikh Juma bin Dalmouk Al Maktoum, president of the Fazza shooting team and captain of the UAE national team, praised the results achieved. Stressing that they were up to the responsibility and continued the series of successes achieved recently on Lusail fields. After winning the continental bronze medal at the Asian Shooting Championships.
He explained that the current results represent a positive start to a season full of various participations and entitlements. Expressing his hope that the UAE shooters will continue to be present on the podiums.
He congratulated the shooters who contributed to the achievement, namely: Sheikh Mohammed bin Dalmouk Al Maktoum, Saif Mani Al Shamsi and Yahya Suhail Al Muhairi.
