Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates – Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the United Arab Emirates, received the Al Ain Club delegation on the occasion of their crowning as champions of the ADNOC Pro League for the 2025-2026 season.
Al Ain succeeded in winning the UAE league title for the 15th time in its history, after delivering an exceptional season that it finished without any losses.
The reception was attended by the first team players and the administrative and technical staff, in addition to representatives of the club’s teams that have won several championships during the current season.
During the meeting, Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed made sure to congratulate the players, the technical and administrative staff, the club’s board of directors, and its fans, praising the achievement of the team and wishing all Emirati sports clubs and teams success in the coming seasons.
The UAE President stressed the importance of continuing to work and excel in order to enhance sporting achievements, noting that developing the sports system is one of the main pillars within the state’s comprehensive development vision, which aims to prepare a generation capable of representing the UAE honorably in various international forums.
For their part, the club’s officials and players expressed their appreciation for the great support given by the UAE leadership to the sports and youth sectors, stressing that this attention has played a prominent role in the development of Emirati sports in recent years.
Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed also took commemorative photos with the team’s players and club officials to celebrate the achievement.
Al Ain had concluded its journey in the UAE league with a resounding 4-0 victory over Dibba in the final round of the competition.
The team thus achieved the Golden League title without suffering any defeats throughout the season, becoming the first team to achieve this feat in the UAE League in more than 40 years.
