Abu Dhabi, UAE – The United Arab Emirates strongly condemned the Iranian missile attack targeting the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan.
It affirmed that the attack constitutes a blatant violation of Jordan’s sovereignty and a direct threat to its security and stability.
The UAE also reiterated its full solidarity with the Kingdom in the face of any threats to its security.
UAE condemns the attack
The UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs, in a statement, affirmed that the Iranian attack on Jordan constitutes
an assault on the Kingdom’s sovereignty and a dangerous escalation that threatens its security and stability.
The Ministry stressed the UAE rejection of any actions targeting
security of brotherly nations or infringing upon their territorial integrity.
The Ministry added that the UAE is closely monitoring developments and reiterated its firm stance calling for respect
for the sovereignty of states and refraining from any actions that could further inflame tensions in the region.
Full solidarity with Jordan
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs expressed the UAE full solidarity with the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan
and its support for all measures taken to maintain its security and stability and protect its citizens.
It also affirmed Abu Dhabi’s support for Jordan in confronting any threats to its national security.
This reflects the strength of the fraternal relations between the two countries
and their ongoing coordination on various issues of common interest.
Calls for de-escalation
The UAE stance comes amid escalating regional tensions and an exchange of military attacks in the region.
At the same time, there are growing calls for restraint and for avoiding any steps that could widen the conflict.
The international community is closely monitoring developments in the crisis.
Meanwhile, calls continue for respect for international law and the sovereignty of states,
