Hong Kong, China – An airline has decided to impose new restrictions on the transport of humanoid robots on its flights. This follows a series of incidents and unusual situations that caused controversy and chaos at some airports and during travel.

The decision comes after the increasing reliance on advanced robots capable of mimicking humans in appearance, movement, and interaction. These robots are being used in various fields, including research, technology, promotional activities, and smart services. However, recent incidents have prompted airlines to reassess safety regulations regarding the transport of such devices.

According to specialized reports, some incidents involved unexpected movements of robots during transport or in waiting areas. This caused confusion among passengers and staff, as well as concerns related to the operating systems, batteries, and power sources used in these devices.

The company explained that the new restrictions aim to enhance security and safety procedures and ensure that no disruptions occur that could affect passenger flow or operational processes within aircraft and airports. It also indicated that the new guidelines will establish clear mechanisms for transporting robots and the requirements for their packaging and shipping.

Technology experts believe that the rapid proliferation of humanoid robots poses new regulatory challenges to numerous sectors, including air transport. This is because traditional regulations were not originally designed to address devices with such high levels of mobility, interaction, and autonomy.

These developments come at a time when the world is witnessing a race to develop intelligent robots, amidst growing questions about how to establish legal and operational frameworks that ensure the benefits of this new technology are utilized without compromising public safety standards.
