Doha, Qatar – The Qatari Ministry of Interior announced that the number of people injured by shrapnel from the recent Iranian attacks has risen to four, including a child. The ministry confirmed that all injuries were minor to moderate and that the injured received the necessary medical care.
The ministry explained that the injuries resulted from shrapnel falling in one of the affected areas, noting that security forces, civil defense teams, and ambulances responded immediately to the reports. Furthermore, the affected areas were secured, and necessary measures were taken to ensure the safety of citizens and residents.
Qatari authorities confirmed that relevant agencies are continuing to assess the damage and monitor the situation on the ground, in coordination with various concerned bodies. Monitoring operations are ongoing, and precautionary measures are being taken in anticipation of any new developments.
The Ministry of Interior urged citizens and residents to obtain information only from official sources and to adhere to the instructions of the relevant authorities. Furthermore, it stressed the importance of not circulating rumors or unverified news, emphasizing that the situation is under constant monitoring and that everyone’s safety is a top priority.
