Beirut, Lebanon – Israeli airstrikes targeting Lebanese territory on Friday killed 83 people, AFP reported. Many more civilians have been killed in similar attacks over the past weeks.

These attacks represent one of the heaviest waves of bombing since the start of the current war, with numerous lives killed as a result.

The death toll exceeds 4,000

According to the agency, the total death toll in Lebanon since March 2nd has surpassed 4,000, reflecting the tragic extent of those killed in the ongoing conflict.

as military operations and mutual escalation continue on the Lebanese front.

Data indicates a steady rise in the number of casualties in recent weeks.

This comes amidst an expansion of airstrikes targeting multiple areas in southern Lebanon and other regions.

Meanwhile, international calls are growing for de-escalation and a ceasefire to minimize casualties and protect civilians.
