Islamabad, Pakistan – Pakistani Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif announced that his country is coordinating closely with the United States and Iran to finalize the implementation steps for a negotiated peace agreement.

This comes as part of diplomatic efforts to contain regional tensions and promote stability in the region.

Multilateral diplomatic moves

Political contacts are ongoing between the three parties through direct and indirect channels,

in an effort to bridge the gaps in their positions on outstanding issues.

At the same time, Pakistan emphasizes that it is playing a facilitating role to support dialogue without taking sides.

Its efforts are focused on de-escalation and finding common ground for understanding.
