Algeria – Algeria strongly condemned the attacks targeting Jordan, Kuwait, and Bahrain, affirming its complete rejection of any actions that threaten the security and stability of Arab states or endanger their people.
In an official statement, the Algerian Ministry of Foreign Affairs emphasized that these attacks represent a dangerous escalation that threatens the security of the region. They also exacerbate regional tensions at a time that demands intensified diplomatic efforts. The Ministry stated that joint action is necessary to maintain stability and prevent further escalation.
Algeria reiterated its full solidarity with Jordan, Kuwait, and Bahrain in the face of any threats targeting their sovereignty or national security, stressing the importance of respecting the principles of good neighborliness and adhering to international law and the UN Charter, which contribute to strengthening regional peace and security.
The Algerian authorities called on all parties to exercise maximum restraint and prioritize dialogue over escalation. They also warned that continued tensions could lead to serious repercussions extending beyond the region, potentially impacting international stability and global trade and energy flows.
Algeria also affirmed its support for all initiatives and efforts aimed at de-escalation and containing crises through peaceful means, noting that political solutions remain the best option for addressing existing disputes and conflicts.
This condemnation comes at a time when the region is witnessing intensive diplomatic activity and ongoing international efforts to contain escalating tensions. There are also growing calls to preserve the security of states and the stability of the region’s peoples.
