Manama, Bahrain – The Bahraini Ministry of Interior announced the arrest of 15 people it said were linked to the Iranian Revolutionary Guard.
This came as part of a security operation described as part of efforts to combat activities targeting the country’s security and stability.

The Ministry explained that the competent authorities were able to apprehend the suspects after monitoring
and tracking activities suspected of being linked to foreign entities.
It also indicated that the necessary legal procedures were taken against them and they were referred for investigation.
The Bahraini Ministry of Interior confirmed that investigations are still ongoing to
uncover further details regarding the nature of the connections and tasks carried out by the detainees.
The investigation is also underway to determine whether there are wider networks connected to the case, either inside or outside the country.

The Bahraini Ministry of Interior emphasized that security forces are continuing
their efforts to monitor any movements that could threaten national security.
It affirmed that it will deal firmly with any illegal activities or attempts to destabilize the country.
