Doha, Qatar – The State of Qatar affirmed that addressing the escalating crises and tensions in the region cannot be achieved through external solutions alone, but requires a comprehensive regional approach based on direct dialogue among the countries of the region. It also stressed the necessity of prioritizing understanding over escalation.

Doha emphasized that sustainable regional stability begins within the region itself. This can be achieved by strengthening political and diplomatic channels of communication between the various parties and working to build common ground that reduces the chances of crises erupting or expanding.

It explained that the current phase necessitates intensifying diplomatic efforts and activating de-escalation mechanisms. This provides greater opportunities to contain tensions and address their root causes, rather than merely managing their repercussions.

Qatar also called for supporting regional and international initiatives aimed at reducing tensions. It affirmed that political solutions remain the most effective option in confronting the complex challenges facing the region.

Qatar reiterated its commitment to its active diplomatic role in regional mediations and its efforts to bridge the gaps between the various parties. It considered this to be a contribution to enhancing security and stability and supporting development opportunities in the region.
