Kuwait – Amid heightened security tensions in the region, the Kuwaiti Ministry of Interior announced a full mobilization of its bomb disposal teams. These teams successfully handled 59 field reports in the past 24 hours. This followed the fall of shrapnel resulting from air defense interception operations in various parts of the country.

A race against time to secure neighborhoods

the Kuwaiti Ministry of Interior confirmed that its specialized teams immediately began field surveys and secured the affected areas upon identifying the locations. This was done to ensure the neutralization of any potential threat to the safety of citizens and residents. Reports indicated that the response was immediate. It was also confirmed that the sites were clear of any explosive materials or secondary hazards resulting from falling shrapnel.

Raising readiness… keeping an eye on developments

The Kuwaiti Ministry of Interior emphasized that it is on “high alert” and continuously raising its readiness levels. This comes in line with the exceptional circumstances and rapid developments in the region. These stringent precautionary measures are intended to ensure the home front remains secure against any repercussions on the ground.

Security appeal to citizens and residents

the Kuwaiti Ministry of Interior reiterated its call for everyone to exercise caution and fully comply with the guidelines issued by official authorities. It also emphasized the importance of:

Avoiding any strange or suspicious objects.

Immediately reporting any debris that may appear in residential or rural areas via the emergency hotline.

Remaining calm and following Civil Defense instructions to ensure public safety and security.
