Abu Dhabi, UAE — Massad Boulos, Senior Advisor to the U.S. President for Arab Affairs, affirmed his country’s full commitment to supporting UAE security and regional stability in the Gulf and the Middle East. He explained that Washington attaches the utmost importance to the strategic coordination file, considering it a safety valve for mutual interests. Moreover, Boulos stressed that bilateral relations between Washington and Abu Dhabi represent a fundamental pillar of U.S. foreign policy. They aim to effectively confront regional challenges and ensure sustainable peace.

Strategic Coordination to Support UAE Security and Regional Stability

Boulos noted that coordination with the UAE includes ongoing and in-depth discussions. These periodic talks aim to address any potential threats that may arise on the scene. In addition, he expressed his deep appreciation for the continuous partnership between the two countries in dealing with complex security issues. He emphasized that maintaining UAE security and regional stability is not just a passing political choice. Rather, it is a firm strategic commitment that ensures a safe environment to drive economic and social development.

From this perspective, both countries work to protect national and regional interests through joint cooperation platforms. Boulos added that the current stage imposes challenges that require a unified and comprehensive vision. Accordingly, the United States stands ready to provide all forms of logistical and intelligence support to ensure the excellence of its partners in the region.

Facing Challenges and Promoting Regional Peace

The U.S. Presidential Advisor added that Washington fully trusts the wisdom and leadership of the UAE. He explained that efforts to consolidate peace require close cooperation between active forces. Therefore, international variables necessitate high-level security cooperation to deter any attempts to undermine stability. On the other hand, Boulos pointed out that Gulf security is an integral part of global national security.
