Tel Aviv, Israel – The Israeli Home Front Command announced this evening that sirens sounded in areas near the border with Lebanon. This followed a suspected drone infiltration into Israeli airspace in northern Israel.

The Home Front Command explained that the sirens sounded as a precautionary measure after a suspicious aerial object was detected in the northern skies. It also noted that early warning and monitoring systems responded immediately to initial indications. Furthermore, defense systems were activated according to established protocols in anticipation of any potential threat.

Israeli media reported that a state of alert prevailed in towns near the Lebanese border.
