Washington, United States – New health concerns have emerged about the health of US President Donald Trump.

When another bruise was seen on his right hand, this time a dark blue one that was very visible.

This was during his meeting in the Oval Office with South Korean President Lee Jae-myung.

Many have noticed bruises on Trump’s 79-year-old hands in recent months. These were sometimes hidden by heavy makeup or by placing his other hand over the bruise.

Trump suffered a similar bruise while playing golf with former American League baseball player Roger Clemens on Sunday. Trump later inducted him into the Baseball Hall of Fame.

This comes after last Friday. Many noticed that the president’s hand was covered in a noticeable patch of makeup that did not match his skin tone.

White House press secretary Carolyn Levitt said Trump’s hand bruises were “consistent” with irritation. This was caused by his “repeated shaking hands and use of aspirin”.

Repeated handshakes

Dr. Sean Barbabella, Trump’s physician, explained: “Recent photos of the president showed minor bruises on the back of his hand”

“This is consistent with slight soft tissue irritation resulting from repeated handshakes and aspirin use,” he added.

“As President Trump’s former personal physician, the president’s former physician, and the White House physician for 14 years over three administrations, I can assure you unequivocally: President Donald Trump is the healthiest president this nation has ever seen,” Jackson said.

Jackson was also Barack Obama’s physician and worked in the White House medical unit under George W. Bush.

He added: “I continue to consult his current doctor and his medical team at the White House. I still spend a lot of time with the president”.

“He is in a better mental and physical state than ever before,” he stressed.

Ankle bruising and swelling

The bruises on the president’s hands, as well as the possibility of swelling in his ankles, raised public concern and curiosity throughout Trump’s second term.

Last month, the White House revealed that Trump had been diagnosed with “chronic venous insufficiency”.

In July, Trump appeared at a White House press conference looking like makeup, raising concerns.

White House press secretary Carolyn Levitt revealed that the president recently noticed a “mild swelling in his lower legs”.

He underwent an examination by the White House Medical Unit.

Levitt stated that he underwent a comprehensive examination that included diagnostic examinations of blood vessels.

She added: “Ultrasound examinations were performed on the lower extremities, revealing chronic venous insufficiency”.

She noted that it is a common condition in people over the age of 70. There is no evidence of a deep vein thrombosis or arterial disease.

“The president is in excellent health,” Levitt said.
