Cairo, Egypt – The film “Lion” starring Mohamed Ramadan ranked fourth in the competition at the Egyptian box office, in the daily revenue list, after achieving about 901,063 pounds through the sale of 5,492 tickets, bringing its total revenue to 74,768,563 pounds since its release in cinemas.
World Show Tour
The production company decided to release the film in several countries, with a new world tour beginning on June 11 in the United States, Canada, and Australia, along with plans for a release in China during the same month, and ongoing negotiations for a theatrical release in India.
The story of the movie Lion
The film Asad takes place in a dramatic setting during the nineteenth century in Egypt, where it presents the story of a slave named Asad, who lives a psychological struggle due to the harsh reality imposed on him by society, before things get complicated when he enters into a secret love story with a free woman, and confrontations with the social restrictions prevalent in that period begin.
