Kuwait – The Kuwaiti Minister of Health affirmed that the Ministry is closely and continuously monitoring the condition of those injured in the incident at Kuwait International Airport, emphasizing that all available medical and human resources have been mobilized to treat the injured. He also confirmed that the injured received immediate medical care.
The Minister explained that medical and emergency teams were dispatched immediately after the incident. Hospitals in the vicinity were placed on high alert, and the injured were received and provided with first aid and specialized care, all in accordance with established emergency response protocols.
He noted that the Ministry of Health’s operations room is monitoring developments closely, in coordination with security and administrative authorities, to ensure a rapid response. All necessary medical resources are being provided, including intensive care units and operating rooms, should the situation require them.
Health sources confirmed that some of the injured are undergoing thorough medical examinations to assess their condition. The injuries range from moderate to minor, and intensive medical monitoring continues to ensure the stability of their cases.
The Minister of Health stressed that the top priority at this stage is saving lives and providing the best possible healthcare. He also indicated that the state will spare no effort in supporting the injured and their families until their full recovery.
