The Ministry’s spokesperson stated that the UK decision represents a key step countering illegal Israeli actions and settler violence threatening comprehensive peace.
He highlighted that London’s enforcement aligns with UN Security Council Resolution 2334, which explicitly condemns unilateral alterations to the occupied 1967 territories.
Call for Broader Global Action
Jordan praised British policy statements upholding Palestinian self-determination while urging the global community to adopt practical measures supporting international law.
Amman reaffirmed its unwavering stance on terminating the occupation and establishing a sovereign Palestinian state based on June 4, 1967 lines with East Jerusalem as its capital.
