Abu Dhabi, UAE – Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the United Arab Emirates, affirmed his country’s full support for Lebanon and its people, emphasizing the UAE’s commitment to supporting efforts aimed at preserving Lebanon’s security, stability, and territorial integrity. This comes amidst the political and security challenges facing the region.

Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed’s remarks came during discussions addressing regional developments, where he stressed the importance of Arab solidarity and joint action to confront the current crises. He also affirmed that the UAE is closely monitoring the ongoing developments in Lebanon and the complex economic and security circumstances it is experiencing.

He noted that the UAE continues to provide support to its Lebanese brothers and sisters through humanitarian aid and political and diplomatic support. This contributes to strengthening stability and supporting Lebanese state institutions during this current phase.

The UAE President affirmed that the stability of Lebanon is an essential part of the stability of the Arab region. He also emphasized the importance of intensifying regional and international efforts to prevent the escalation of crises and to support de-escalation and political solutions.

These statements come at a time when Lebanon is facing increasing economic and security challenges. This coincides with ongoing Arab and international efforts aimed at supporting stability and preserving the country’s unity.

Observers believe the Emirati position reflects Abu Dhabi’s continued interest in the Lebanese situation and its commitment to supporting the Lebanese people and state institutions. This is particularly evident given the sensitive regional circumstances the region has been experiencing recently.
