Abu Dhabi, UAE – Al Ain clinched the UAE Pro League title after a resounding 5-0 victory over hosts Sharjah in their match on Wednesday evening, part of the 24th round of fixtures.
The match was held at Sharjah Stadium, where Al Ain dominated from the outset. They opened the scoring early in the 10th minute through Abdul Karim Traoré, who capitalized on a cross from Palacios, heading it powerfully into the net.
The second goal came soon after, with Kodjo Laba extending Al-Hilal’s lead in the 15th minute with a well-placed header, confirming his team’s dominance in the first half.
In the second half, Al Ain continued their dominance, with Eric Jorgins adding the third goal in the 51st minute. He took advantage of a long pass from Rami Rabia that Sharjah’s defense failed to handle, allowing him to easily put it into the net.
Just three minutes later, Moroccan Soufiane Rahimi scored the fourth goal in the 54th minute with a powerful shot from inside the penalty area. Rami Rabia then completed his team’s five-goal haul in the 63rd minute, heading home a corner kick.
