Abu Dhabi, UAE – Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President and Deputy Prime Minister of the UAE and Chief of the Presidential Court, discussed current regional developments and ways to de-escalate tensions and enhance stability in the region during a phone call with Iranian Parliament Speaker Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf.

The call addressed an exchange of views on several regional issues of mutual interest. The importance of continued communication and dialogue between the concerned parties was also emphasized, as it contributes to supporting regional security and stability.

This call comes amidst diplomatic efforts in the region to contain escalating tensions. These efforts aim to open channels of dialogue between various regional powers, with the goal of reaching political solutions to existing crises instead of resorting to military escalation.

These contacts are seen as part of diplomatic efforts aimed at promoting calm in the region, at a time when international calls are growing for prioritizing political solutions and preventing the spread of tensions.
