Cairo – The Arab League affirmed that investing in scientific research is one of the most important ways to achieve sustainable economic recovery in Arab countries. It also stressed that promoting knowledge and innovation is key to addressing current economic and environmental challenges.

The university explained that scientific research contributes to stimulating economic growth by producing practical solutions in the industrial and agricultural sectors. It also supports efforts to address climate change and environmental challenges. The university emphasized the importance of strengthening regional cooperation among research institutions to exchange expertise and enhance competitiveness in the region.

The university added that achieving this vision requires balanced funding for scientific research, as well as a robust infrastructure for universities and innovation centers. Furthermore, it necessitates linking research findings to the labor market to maximize their economic and social impact.

She said: “Investing today in scientific research and innovation is a guarantee for a future capable of facing crises with confidence and efficiency.”
