The importance of strengthening security coordination and border control

According to sources, these warnings came amid escalating security tensions in the region.

to launch military operations from Iraqi territory. This situation could lead to a wider regional conflict.

The sources confirmed that Damascus and Amman stressed the importance of strengthening security coordination and border control.

Furthermore, they emphasized the need to take necessary measures to prevent any armed activity

that could threaten the security and stability of the region’s countries or drag them into a new confrontation.

She explained that the messages emphasized respect for the sovereignty of states and a commitment not

to allow Iraqi territory to be used as a launching pad for any military operations.

They also called for increased security and intelligence cooperation to prevent any potential escalation.
