Beirut, Lebanon – Southern Lebanon witnessed a new military escalation after Israeli forces launched a series of airstrikes and artillery bombardments targeting several towns in the Nabatieh and South governorates.
This coincided with powerful explosions that rocked border areas, injuring two people in the town of Nabatieh al-Fawqa.

Lebanon media reported that Israeli warplanes carried out several consecutive airstrikes on southern towns,
while Israeli artillery targeted open areas and the outskirts of several villages.
Simultaneously, powerful explosions were heard as a result of Israeli military bombings in border areas.
The shelling injured two people in the town of Nabatieh al-Fawqa.
Ambulance and civil defense teams rushed to the scene to transport the wounded and provide medical care.
Meanwhile, authorities are still working to assess the extent of the damage to property and infrastructure.
