Kuwait – Kuwaiti authorities announced the temporary closure of the country’s airspace as a precautionary measure in light of the rapidly evolving security situation in the region, emphasizing that the decision was made to ensure the safety of air traffic and passengers.

Concurrently, Kuwait Airways announced the rescheduling of several of its flights. The airline stated that it is continuously monitoring the situation in coordination with relevant authorities and will update flight schedules as needed to guarantee the highest levels of safety.

The airline urged passengers to check the status of their flights through official channels before heading to the airport, noting the possibility of delays or changes to some flights until further notice, due to restrictions imposed on air traffic.

The closure of Kuwaiti airspace is part of a series of measures taken by several countries in the region amid escalating military tensions. Concerns have also grown about the impact of these security developments on civil aviation and air navigation. Meanwhile, relevant authorities continue to assess the situation and take necessary measures to ensure the safety of passengers and aircrews.
