Dubai, UAE – The Anti-Fraud Center at the General Department of Criminal Investigation and Research at Dubai Police warned of fraud crimes against people under the pretext of promising them to issue work visas without any real basis for this promise.

He stressed the importance of going to official authorities and legally accredited offices concerned with completing any procedures related to issuing visas.

In addition to following up on trends related to requirements and conditions.

As part of its ongoing campaign, “Be aware of fraud”, the Center pointed out the importance of spreading awareness of the necessity of verifying visas from official competent authorities only.

He also called for the need to always exercise caution and care against being exposed to any type of fraud crimes, and the need to deal with approved and reliable authorities.

The Anti-Fraud Center noted the need to immediately report fraud crimes or any fraud attempt.

This can be done via the Dubai Police smart app, the eCrime platform for receiving cybercrime reports, or by calling 901.
