Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates – Edge Group announced that it is in the final stages of concluding an agreement with the Ministry of Interior of the Republic of Angola to implement a comprehensive border security program.

Which will be implemented by her company “Beken Red”, signed by Omar Al Zaabi, Head of Edge Trading Sector.

Hamad Al Marar, Managing Director and CEO of Edge Group, said that this important program confirms Edge Group’s core strategy of providing advanced defense and security solutions, manufactured in the UAE, to international partners. Angola is an ambitious country with a clear vision to modernize its national security structure, making it an ideal partner in shaping the future of border control. As one of the most important initiatives led by the UAE, It highlights the strength of our defense industrial base and demonstrates our role in supporting governments in building long-term, future-ready national security capabilities.

The programme will enable the development of long-term capabilities.

By providing modern command and control systems and mission-specific training to enhance situational awareness, operational readiness and rapid response at critical border points.

This project will represent one of the most important security programs led by the UAE at the international level.

This demonstrates Edge’s solid ability to deliver solutions that meet complex national security priorities.

Edge’s border security architecture integrates AI-powered analytics and surveillance drones.

In addition to secure communications, big data management with traditional defense systems and multi-layered physical security.

It also aims to provide each solution specifically to suit the customer’s specific operational requirements.

In addition to overcoming the complexities of rugged terrain and different threat environments.

It provides modular, interoperable systems that ensure enhanced situational awareness and rapid response technology across diverse geographic regions.

The agreement follows a €1 billion deal signed by Abu Dhabi Shipbuilding, a subsidiary of Edge Group.

This is to build BR71 MKII cruisers for the Angolan Navy.
