Dubai, UAE – UAE stock markets began trading on Friday with mixed performance. The Dubai Financial Market index rose, while the Abu Dhabi Securities Market index declined. Amid mixed movements in leading stocks.
The Dubai Financial Market index rose by 0.28% to 5,934.67 points. Meanwhile, the Abu Dhabi Securities Market fell by 0.18% to 10,101.73 points.
In the Dubai market, Etihad Energy shares rose by 1.65% to AED 3.07, and Emirates NBD shares rose by 1.07% to AED 31.84. DO 1.16% to AED 12.18, Aramex 1.17% to AED 1.72, and Air Arabia 1.16% to AED 5.21. Meanwhile, Emaar Properties shares fell 0.17% to 11.58 dirhams, and Emaar Development shares fell 1.47% to 13.40 dirhams.
In the Abu Dhabi market, Global Holding shares fell 0.46% to 381.90 dirhams, and Alpha Dhabi shares fell 0.12% to 7.84 dirhams. In contrast, IBEX Investment shares rose 5.30% to 3.77 dirhams, and Aldar Properties rose 0.76% to 7.86 dirhams.
