Abu Dhabi, UAE – ADNOC Supply and Services PLC announced the acquisition of five modern giant gas tankers and six giant crude oil tankers. With a total investment of approximately 4.8 billion dirhams ($1.3 billion).
This investment contributes to rapid expansion with the aim of enhancing ADNOC Supply and Services’ ability to expand in the field of transporting gas and crude oil. This supports ADNOC’s integrated export value chain and enhances its ability to continue growth in the areas of production, trade, and exports.
Nine of these tankers, including six giant crude oil tankers and three giant gas tankers, were acquired from previous owners. It is planned to be received during the third quarter of 2026.
These tankers will also join the fleet and enter operational service with ADNOC upon receipt.
ADNOC Supply and Services also acquired two new supertankers under construction. Through a resale deal from a Chinese shipbuilding company, both will be delivered during the fourth quarter of 2026.
These deals contribute to achieving operational value and tangible financial returns in the near term. With the strengthening of the scope of work of ADNOC Supply and Services’ shipping platform, increasing its operational flexibility, and its determination to face changes.
