Manchester, England – Spaniard Pep Guardiola bid farewell to Manchester City fans with a heartfelt message during a special ceremony held on Monday evening. The event celebrated his historic ten-year tenure with the club, a period filled with trophies and achievements at the Etihad Stadium.
Manchester experienced a special atmosphere, beginning with a trophy parade through the city streets. Following this, thousands of City fans gathered for the main celebration, a tribute to the manager who led the team through its most successful period ever.
The ceremony showcased the trophies won by Manchester City under Guardiola’s leadership, having secured 20 titles in a decade. This cemented his status as one of the greatest managers in football history, and the most prominent in the history of the English club.
The evening also included a tribute to John Stones and Bernardo Silva. In addition, the achievements of the club’s various teams during the 2026 season were celebrated, including the first team, women’s, and youth teams.
Several Manchester City stars and legends attended the ceremony, including Vincent Kompany, Fernandinho, and Ederson. Everyone was keen to bid farewell to the Spanish manager in an emotional evening.
