Munich, Germany – Paris Saint-Germain secured their place in the Champions League final after overcoming Bayern Munich in a thrilling two-legged semi-final clash.
A 1-1 draw was the outcome of the second leg match played this evening at the Allianz Arena. This result secured Paris Saint-Germain’s qualification, thanks to their first-leg victory, giving them a 6-5 aggregate win in one of the most exciting ties of the tournament this season.
Paris Saint-Germain started the match strongly and succeeded in opening the scoring early in the third minute through Ousmane Dembele, after a quick counter-attack led by Kvaratskhelia, before he passed the ball to Dembele who shot it powerfully into Manuel Neuer’s net.

In the second half, Kvaratskhelia wasted a golden opportunity to kill the game in the 79th minute, after he found himself one-on-one with the goalkeeper, but his weak shot was cleared off the goal line by Kim Min-jae.
Before the final whistle, Harry Kane managed to score the equalizer for Bayern Munich in the fifth minute of stoppage time, after he fired a powerful shot that found the back of the net, but the goal was not enough to save the Bavarian team from bidding farewell to the tournament.
