Abu Dhabi, UAE – The match between Bani Yas and their guest Al Dhafra ended in a 2-2 draw, in the game that brought them together at Bani Yas Stadium in the capital Abu Dhabi, as part of the opening of the 24th round of the ADNOC Professional League.
Al Dhafra opened the scoring early through Karim El Berkaoui in the first minute, scoring the fastest goal of the competition this season. Youssoufou Nketiah then equalized for Bani Yas in the 36th minute.
Al-Barkawi restored Al-Dhafra’s lead in the 56th minute. But Nassim Chadli snatched an equalizer for the home side in the 82nd minute.

The match saw Al Dhafra clearly dominate the first half, enjoying 70.8% possession compared to Bani Yas’s 29.2%. They also had more shots on goal. Despite this, the home side managed to equalize through Nikita.
In the second half, Al Dhafra continued their dominance and managed to regain the lead through Al Barkawi. However, their task became more difficult after their top scorer was forced off injured in the 79th minute.
Bani Yas took advantage of this decline to intensify their pressure, and substitute Nassim Chadli succeeded in scoring the equalizer, so the score remained unchanged until the final whistle.
