Dubai, UAE – The Emirates women’s cycling team won two new titles in the under-23 time trial races. After Ukrainian Milana Ushakova and the Dutchman in Kelvin won the Ukrainian and Dutch national championship titles on Wednesday.
The achievement came two days after their colleague Renata Sultanova won the title of the elite women’s time trial race in Kazakhstan. The team won three national titles in time trial races in less than a week.
In Ukraine, Milana Ushakova gave an outstanding performance in a 20-kilometre time trial race. To be crowned Ukrainian champion in the under-23 category.
In the Netherlands, she completed a perfect day for the team in Kelvin by winning the Dutch National Time Trial Championship for the under-23 category. After performing strongly in the 36-kilometre race, which featured a group of prominent cycling competitors.
In Canvin, she finished the race in twelfth place overall among all entries. She was the fastest among the contestants in the under-23 category, and she deservedly won the national title.
