Real Madrid midfielder Eduardo Camavinga has apologized to his team’s fans following their Champions League exit against Bayern Munich.
Real Madrid lost 4-3 in the second leg, a match that saw Camavinga sent off in the final minutes after receiving two yellow cards. The first was for a foul on Jamal Musiala, and the second for delaying the restart of play after a foul on Harry Kane, a moment that sparked widespread controversy.
The French player had come on as a substitute in the second half, and the team was affected by his dismissal at a time when the score was 3-2 in favor of Real Madrid.
Camavinga wrote on his Instagram account: “I take responsibility.. I apologize to my teammates and the fans, and thank you for your support.. Hala Madrid always”.
