London, England – British press reports have revealed Chelsea’s stance on the future of their coach, Liam Rosenior, in light of the team’s recent poor results.
The English coach is facing increasing pressure within the London club, after the team managed only one win in their last six matches across all competitions.
The Athletic reported that Chelsea’s management is inclined to keep Rosenior, even if the team fails to finish the season in the top five positions that qualify for the Champions League, believing in his ability to lead the club’s project in the long term.
Chelsea currently sit sixth in the Premier League table with 48 points, four points behind fifth place.
Rosenior, 41, took over as coach of the team last January, succeeding Italian Enzo Maresca.
