The announcement of Mohamed Salah’s departure from Liverpool at the end of this season has topped the headlines of international newspapers, which highlighted the end of an exceptional career for the Egyptian star at Anfield.

Mohamed Salah had announced, via a video he posted on his official accounts, his departure from Liverpool after a journey that lasted for 9 years, during which he achieved many titles and accomplishments, and left a historic mark with the team.

AS (Spanish)

AS newspaper reported: “Officially: Salah will leave Liverpool at the end of the season. The 33-year-old Egyptian legend has announced his departure after nine seasons and more than 250 goals”.

Sport Catalan

The newspaper “Sport” stated: “Salah announced his departure from Liverpool, as the Egyptian player will leave the club at the end of the season, as he confirmed through a video he posted on his official accounts”.

Mundo Deportivo

The newspaper “Mundo Deportivo” headlined: “Salah announces his departure from Liverpool!”, noting that the Egyptian star revealed his decision via social media.

Sky Sports

Sky Sports wrote: “Mohamed Salah will leave Liverpool at the end of the season,” explaining that the player preferred to announce his decision early to bring some transparency to the club’s fans regarding his future”.

Mail Sport

Meanwhile, the Mail on Sport headlined: “Mohamed Salah confirms his departure from Liverpool in an emotional farewell video”.

The Sun

The Sun newspaper reported: “Mohamed Salah’s departure from Liverpool has been confirmed, with the Egyptian King set to leave at the end of the season.”
