Today's match schedule: Bani Yas faces Al Jazira, and strong matches in the English and Spanish leagues

Abu Dhabi, UAE – Saturday, January 31, 2026, will witness a number of important and strong matches in various competitions around the world, most notably the UAE President’s Cup and the African Champions League.

All eyes are on Al Nahyan Stadium, where Bani Yas will meet Al Jazira, in the quarter-finals of the President’s Cup.

In the African Champions League, Al-Ahly of Egypt will be hosted by Young Africans of Tanzania, as part of the fourth round of the group stage. Two strong matches will also be held, bringing together the Moroccan Royal Army with the Algerian JS Kabylie, and Petro Atletico of Angola with Stade Malien.

On the European stage, attention is focused on the English Premier League, where several strong matches will take place as part of the 24th round, most notably Liverpool’s match against Newcastle United, Chelsea’s match against West Ham, while Arsenal will face Leeds United.

In the Spanish league, Barcelona will visit Elche, while Atletico Madrid will meet Levante.

In the German league, Bayern Munich will clash with Hamburg in the 20th round of the Bundesliga.

In handball, the Egyptian national team will meet its Tunisian counterpart in the final of the African Nations Championship.

African Champions League

Young Africans vs Al Ahly: 3 pm Cairo time, 5 pm Abu Dhabi time.. via beIN Sports 2 HD channel.

Petro Atletico vs Stade Malien: 8 PM Abu Dhabi time, 7 PM Saudi time.. via beIN Sports 2 HD.

African Nations Handball Championship
