Geneva, Switzerland – Ecuadorian Jonathan Narvaez, cyclist of the Emirates-XRG cycling team, won the title of the third stage of the Tour de Switzerland. After a strong performance, he finished in first place following a successful attacking start that lasted a long distance of the race.
Narvaez’s victory came after he outperformed Belgian Zandro Morris from Pinarello Q36.5 Pro Cycling in the final rush. To add a new victory to his record this season, and give the Emirates team its 41st victory in 2026.
In the overall standings of the Tour, Slovenian Tadej Pugachar, the star of the Emirates team, continued to lead the race, maintaining the yellow jersey. After finishing the stage in the main group, he increased the gap between him and his closest pursuer, Ecuadorian Richard Carabaz, to two minutes and 50 seconds.
