Cairo, Egypt – Shabab Al-Ahli Dubai secured a valuable 2-0 victory over Qatari side Al-Gharafa in their AFC Champions League match on Monday.
Shabab Al Ahli met with Al Gharafa of Qatar at Al Rashid Stadium, as part of the fifth round of the AFC Champions League.
Al Ahli ignited the match early, scoring in the ninth minute of the first half. The goal came from Kwan Santos, who dribbled past Al Gharafa’s defenders on the edge of the penalty area before firing a shot into the net.

The win lifted Shabab Al Ahli to fifth place with 10 points, while Al Gharafa of Qatar remained in ninth place with 3 points.
Shabab Al Ahli had drawn in the first round with Tractor with a score of (1-1), before winning against Al Ittihad Saudi in the second round with a clean goal.
In the third round, they achieved a resounding victory over Uzbekistan’s Nasaf Qarshi with a score of (4-1). However, they lost to Qatar’s Al-Duhail by the same score in the fourth round.
