Cairo, Egypt – The lineup for the Round of 32 of the FIFA U-17 World Cup has been completed, following the conclusion of the third and final round of the group stage.
Eight intense matches took place today to conclude the group stage of the Under-17 World Cup, which witnessed a resounding surprise with Uganda’s qualification after defeating France 1-0.
Meanwhile, the Saudi national team exited the tournament from the group stage after losing to Mali by two goals to nil.
Thus, three Arab teams, namely Egypt, Tunisia and Morocco, qualify for the round of 32 of the Junior World Cup.
Also qualifying from the African continent are the national teams of Burkina Faso, Uganda, South Africa, Zambia, Senegal, and Mali.
The top two teams from each of the 12 groups, along with the 8 best third-placed teams, are scheduled to qualify for the round of 32 of the FIFA U-17 World Cup.
