Cairo, Egypt – The Egyptian Handball Federation, headed by Captain Khaled Fathi, in coordination with the UAE Handball Federation and United Sports Company, has decided to hold the Egyptian Super Cup between Al-Ahly
and Smouha teams next Friday in the United Arab Emirates.
The date was set after a series of fruitful meetings that brought together Captain Khaled Fathi,
President of the Egyptian Handball Federation,
With Saud Ibrahim Saleh, President of the UAE Handball Federation,
officials from United Sports Company, and Captain Assem Al-Saadani,
the technical expert of the UAE Federation,
Captain Khaled Diwan, Vice President of the Handball Federation,
and Mohamed Gamal Helil, Board Member,
All organizational and technical details of the match have been agreed upon.

Captain Khaled Fathi expressed his sincere thanks and appreciation to the President of the UAE Federation for the great support and assistance in hosting the meeting.
He praised the excellent cooperation between the two sides, which reflects the depth of relations between Egypt and the UAE at both the sports and administrative levels.

Meanwhile, the Smouha delegation arrives today after the visa crisis
that the team faced in recent days has ended.
The organization of the Super Cup in the UAE comes as part
of the Egyptian Handball Federation’s plan to develop
its competition system and expand the game’s fan base in the Arab world.
This is part of a vision aimed at introducing a new professional form for Egyptian handball.
The summit is scheduled to be officiated by an Emirati refereeing team.
