Cairo, Egypt – The Saudi Arabia under-17 national team bid farewell to the World Cup from the group stage after losing to Mali 2-0 in the third and final round of matches.

The Saudi national team met with their Malian counterparts at pitch number (7) in the Aspire Zone in Qatar, at the conclusion of the group stage competitions of the Under-17 World Cup.

Raymond Boumba scored the first goal for Mali in the 61st minute, before Ibrahim Diakite added the second goal in the 67th minute.

With that result, the Saudi Arabia Under-17 football team bids farewell to the 2025 FIFA U-17 World Cup after finishing third in the group standings with 3 points.

Meanwhile, the Mali national team jumped to second place in the group with 6 points, qualifying for the Round of 32 of the U-17 World Cup.

The top two teams from each of the 12 groups, along with the 8 best third-placed teams, qualify for the round of 32 of the FIFA U-17 World Cup.
