Voice of the Emirates – Leaks surrounding the Xiaomi 17 Ultra are increasing. It is expected to be the flagship of the Xiaomi 17 series, and there are strong indications that it will be announced in late December 2025. This is earlier than the company’s usual launch date for its flagship devices. Initial information suggests that the phone will feature a number of significant improvements in camera capabilities, performance, and integrated technologies.

According to leaked images of the phone’s camera setup, the Xiaomi 17 Ultra will come with only three rear cameras. This move has been described as surprising compared to the quad-camera system of the Xiaomi 15 Ultra. However, despite this change, sources confirm that Xiaomi is not backing down. Rather, it is redesigning its camera system for even better performance.

Leaks suggest the phone will feature a 50MP OVX10500U main sensor, along with a 200MP Samsung ISOCELL S5KHPE telephoto sensor. It will also include a 50MP OV50M or S5KJN5 ultrawide camera. The front-facing selfie camera is also expected to be 50MP.

One of the most anticipated features is the adoption of a new dynamic camera system. This will replace the rear-view screen used in some previous models. It will also include full RGB display technology, offering higher detail and improved resolution, as an alternative to the traditional 2K screen.

In terms of performance, the phone will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor. This processor is one of Qualcomm’s most powerful processors expected for 2025. In addition, it will run the HyperOS 3 operating system based on Android 16, giving it greater speed and stability.

The leaks also reveal that the phone supports satellite communications. This allows for making calls and sending messages without needing a traditional network. Additionally, it comes with a massive 6800 mAh battery.

With the anticipated launch date approaching, more details are expected to be revealed in the coming days, especially given the growing interest from tech enthusiasts in the new series. This series could potentially lead the flagship phone market by early 2026.
