This comes as the Pentagon continues to defend its policy of delaying the release of casualty figures for security reasons.

According to official data, most of the injured have returned to active service. In the same context, Sean Parnell, the official spokesman for the Pentagon, confirmed these numbers in an official statement to the network. “As of July 6, about 100 people have been diagnosed with some degree of infection, and 96 percent of them have returned to duty,” he said.
