Washington, DC – In an unprecedented military and political escalation, the US military and civilian leadership announced on Tuesday their full readiness for a major confrontation with Iran. They described the current actions as a battle to restore freedom of navigation and free the global economy from Iranian “capitalization.” This coincided with a pledge to end Tehran nuclear ambitions “by any means necessary.”
50,000 soldiers are waiting for the signal
The Chairman of the US Joint Chiefs of Staff, General Dan Keane,
confirmed that the US military is prepared to resume major combat operations against Iran,
pending a direct political decision from President Donald Trump.
Keane explained at a press conference that Operation Freedom in the Strait of Hormuz aims to secure international shipping lanes.
He stated that Iran has weaponized supply chains and violated maritime law.
The global economy is “held hostage”
Keane revealed the scale of the humanitarian and economic disaster in the region. He also noted that more t
han 22,000 sailors are stranded on 1,500 commercial vessels in the Arabian Sea due to Iranian threats.
He warned that the Revolutionary Guard is attempting to hold the global economy
“hostage,” asserting that US forces have identified and are neutralizing these threats.
Despite nine incidents of gunfire against commercial vessels and ten attacks against US forces since the ceasefire,
Keane maintained that these provocations have not yet reached the level of a full-scale war.
However, he emphasized that further ship transits in the coming days will be conducted under the protection of a “strike force.”
“Nuclear dust” and Trump’s upper hand
For his part, US Secretary of Defense Pete Haigset issued a fiery statement vowing
to seize Iran’s enriched uranium stockpiles, which he described as “nuclear dust.”
Haigset stated firmly, “We will get Iran’s nuclear dust by any means necessary,”
emphasizing that preventing Tehran from acquiring a nuclear weapon is an absolute and non-negotiable priority.
Responding to questions about the seriousness of US promises and regime change,
Haigset said, “President Trump has not conceded anything;
we hold the upper hand, and all the cards are in the president’s hands.”
He described the Iranian regime as killing its innocent citizens and asserted
that liberating the Iranian people from this “yoke” is an absolute necessity.
He also stressed that this is a responsibility that rests with the Iranian people, supported by Washington’s new strategy.
Defense Minister: “America First” as a security doctrine
Hegsett emphasized that the current actions are driven by the “America First” doctrine.
While this rhetoric has historically focused on domestic affairs,
the current administration is redefining it to encompass protecting
American national security from nuclear threats and maritime piracy.
It also considers curbing Iran’s influence in the Persian Gulf a direct protection of American national interests.
These simultaneous statements from Pentagon leaders place the region on the brink of disaster.
Diplomacy appears to have been completely sidelined, with the option of “control
and seizure” now awaiting the final signal from the White House.
