Islamabad, Pakistan – The Pakistani Prime Minister welcomed the ceasefire agreement in Lebanon, considering it a positive development towards de-escalating tensions in a region that has witnessed escalating conflict recently.

In an official statement, the Prime Minister affirmed Pakistan’s support for all international and regional efforts aimed at reducing tensions. He also stressed the need for full adherence to the ceasefire and the avoidance of any actions that could reignite tensions.

He added that Lebanon’s stability is a crucial element for the security of the entire region. He called on the international community to continue working to solidify the ceasefire and push for comprehensive political solutions that guarantee security and stability.

Pakistan reiterated its support for diplomatic solutions, emphasizing that dialogue is the best way to address complex crises, particularly in light of the growing challenges facing the Middle East.

These statements come as the international community closely monitors the ceasefire agreement’s durability. This comes amidst increasing calls for intensified political efforts to prevent any further escalation that could threaten regional stability.
